Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we use it and the choices you have when you visit Stackweft or discuss a project with us.
Last updated: October 20, 20261. About this policy
This policy explains how Stackweft, a WordPress-focused development agency operating from Ukraine, handles personal information collected through stackweft.com and related project enquiries. It covers visitors, prospective clients and people who contact us. Third-party project websites and services have their own privacy policies.
Stackweft is responsible for how it uses information received through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email stackweft@gmail.com. If you become a client, the contracting party and any additional arrangements for project data will be identified in your agreement.
2. Information you provide
Our project enquiry forms request your name, service and a description of your project, and let you choose a preferred contact method. Depending on that method, contact details may be an email address, phone number, username or social profile link. The quote form also collects the budget range and timeline you choose.
We receive the form type and the URL of the page from which you submit your enquiry. Further correspondence may include your business name, requirements, design files and other information you choose to share. Please provide only what is needed to discuss the work; do not send passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal information through these forms.
The required fields allow us to understand and respond to your request. You can browse the website without submitting a form, or contact us directly by email instead.
3. Technical information and browser storage
When you visit the website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the site.
Our form endpoint uses a hashed IP address and recent submission timestamps to limit repeated requests. Its rate-limit window is ten minutes; that window does not determine how long a hosting provider retains its logs or temporary files. A hidden spam-detection field helps reject automated submissions.
We store your cookie choice in your browser under stackweft-cookie-consent for 180 days. This record contains your separate website analytics and advertising measurement preferences, the choice date and its expiry date. It helps us remember your decision and is not sent with project enquiries. If browser storage is blocked or cleared, we may ask again. A change to the consent settings may also require a new choice.
4. Why we use your information
We use enquiry information to review requirements, answer questions, prepare estimates, arrange communication and take steps toward a potential project. If we work together, we also use relevant information to deliver the agreed services, provide support and maintain necessary business records.
Technical information helps us operate the website, troubleshoot failures and prevent abuse. With your permission, website analytics helps us understand how visitors navigate and where they encounter difficulties. Advertising-related information is used to measure campaign performance as described below. We do not sell your personal information or add you to a newsletter simply because you submit an enquiry.
5. Grounds for processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, responding to a request for an estimate or services may involve steps taken at your request before entering a contract. Delivering an agreed project may be necessary to perform that contract. Protecting the website and handling ordinary business correspondence may rely on legitimate interests, taking account of your rights; some records may be required by law.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. The required acknowledgement on our forms concerns your enquiry and this policy; it is not a separate agreement to advertising cookies.
6. Who receives your information
Form submissions are sent through a Telegram bot to a private Stackweft chat for the team to review. The message includes your submitted contact and project details, the form type and submission page URL. Telegram processes these messages on its infrastructure; this delivery method is not a Telegram Secret Chat.
Hostinger provides website hosting and handles requests to the form endpoint. If you communicate by email, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger or Instagram, the provider of that channel also processes the conversation under its own terms. Relevant information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
Provider information is available in the Hostinger Privacy Policy and Telegram Privacy Policy. We use your chosen contact channel to respond; selecting it does not give us access to your account or private conversations.
7. Analytics, advertising and your choices
Plerdy website analytics and the Google Ads tag stay blocked until you allow their respective optional categories through our cookie banner or Cookie settings. You can allow website analytics and advertising measurement separately. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from browsing the website or submitting an enquiry. We do not load a separate Google Analytics tag.
If you allow website analytics, Plerdy may collect page URLs, clicks, scrolling, browser and device information, visitor and session identifiers, and session replays to help us improve the website. Plerdy uses browser storage to link visits and sessions. According to Plerdy, its tracking does not record personal data typed into website fields. We do not add enquiry names, contact details or project descriptions to custom analytics events. Details are available in the Plerdy FAQ and Plerdy Privacy Policy.
If you allow advertising measurement, Google may receive information about page visits, browser and device characteristics, IP addresses and advertising identifiers. Google Ads may set cookies such as _gcl_*; cookie names and duration depend on Google's implementation. Personalised advertising signals remain disabled in our tag configuration. We do not include the name, contact details or project description from our forms in the Google Ads tag.
You can review or withdraw your choices at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops the corresponding tag on subsequent page loads, removes accessible first-party Google Ads cookies or identifiable Plerdy browser storage where possible, and reloads the page if needed to unload a running tag. It does not reverse processing that already took place or delete third-party cookies that our website cannot access.
You can restrict or delete cookies and site storage through your browser and manage advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center. Browser controls can affect functionality, and changing advertising preferences does not necessarily stop all measurement or data processing.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Browsing this website or accepting the enquiry-form acknowledgement should not be understood as consent to advertising cookies.
8. How long information is kept
Our retention period for project enquiries is up to 12 months, unless the information is needed for an ongoing discussion, client relationship, contractual obligation or applicable legal requirement. Client correspondence and records may need to be kept longer for delivery, support, accounting or resolving disputes.
Retention depends on the purpose and type of record. Provider logs, messages and backups may follow separate retention practices. Contact us to request deletion or ask about a particular record; some information may need to be retained where an obligation or legal claim requires it.
9. International processing and security
Stackweft operates from Ukraine and uses providers whose infrastructure may be located in other countries. Hosting, messaging, analytics and advertising services may therefore process information outside your country of residence. Applicable safeguards and transfer arrangements depend on the provider and the law governing the processing; you can contact us for information relevant to your enquiry.
We use measures appropriate to the information and purpose of processing, including limiting access to enquiry information. No website, messaging service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Access credentials or confidential project data should be shared through a separately agreed method rather than the public enquiry forms.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may also be entitled to object to certain processing and withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. These rights can be subject to exceptions, including legal record-keeping requirements.
Send your request to stackweft@gmail.com, identifying the contact details you used and the relevant enquiry. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
We do not use enquiry submissions to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
11. External websites and children
Links to portfolio projects, social networks and messaging platforms take you to services operated by others. This policy does not cover their collection or use of information. Review their policies before sharing personal information.
Our services and enquiry forms are intended for business and professional use, not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, contact us so we can review and address it.
12. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our website, processing activities or providers change. The date above identifies the current version. If a change requires a further notice or consent under applicable law, that requirement is separate from updating this page.
For any question about your information or this policy, contact stackweft@gmail.com.
